SEAHOARSE

Seahoarse is a four-piece noise pop act based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Formed in early 2015, the band has played several micro-gigs and released a demo E.P. “Live at Appleseed” (Horseriding Records, Ear Alert Records, 2015).     Seahoarse’s first single, “Cricket Choir” was released by 29 December 2015. 

Seahoarse’s music is a diffuse of noise, surf pop, psychedelic, and garlands of other sound experimentations that create melodies to sing about falling in and out of love. The name itself, Seahoarse, indicates the band’s intention to capture the sways of feelings in hoarse sounds; like the harsh beauty of how seas sound.
Seahoarse consists of Gisela Swaragita (vocals, bass), Rudi Yulianto (guitars), Mahamboro (guitars), and Aditya Putra (drums).
